
Thunder 2012-13 Season Opening Roster Announced

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League, announced the team's active season opening roster for the 2012-13 regular season is set at 23 players (2 goaltenders and 21 skaters).
The following is a complete breakdown of the Thunder player roster:

There are nine players returning from last season's Thunder team that advanced to the second round of the playoffs for the third time in four seasons. In addition, defenseman Ryan Constant, sixth on the Thunder all time list with 161 games played, returns to the lineup after playing last season in Italy.
A total of nine players are on the Thunder roster that have playing experience in the NHL or American Hockey League: Cameron Brodie, Philippe Cornet, Ryan Constant, Tony DeHart, Garet Hunt, Eric Hunter, Rob Kwiet, Justin Maylan and Harrison Reed.
Opening Night is tomorrow when the Thunder launches the 2012-13 season and the ECHL's 25th Anniversary campaign at home against the Ontario Reign starting at 7:30 p.m. at Stockton Arena.
A two time recipient of the ECHL "Award of Excellence," the Thunder led the ECHL in attendance for four consecutive seasons and drew over 200,000 fans for the seventh consecutive season in 2011-12.
