Solar Bears Defenseman Nolan Valleau Loaned to Syracuse Crunch

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears have announced that defenseman Nolan Valleau has received a Professional Try-Out Agreement from the Syracuse Crunch, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Valleau, 25, has recorded four points (2g-2a) and 12 penalty minutes in seven games with Orlando this season. Syracuse's next game is at home against the Belleville Senators at the War Memorial Arena on Friday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.

The 6-foot-1, 177-pound blueliner is in his second season with the Solar Bears and fourth professional campaign overall. Last season, Valleau received PTOs with five different AHL clubs while under contract to Orlando, and skated in a total of 16 games at the Triple-A level while loaned to the Chicago Wolves, Rockford IceHogs, Milwaukee Admirals and Utica Comets.

NEXT GAME: The Solar Bears remain on the road, as the team journeys north to face the Greenville Swamp Rabbits on Friday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
