Utah Grizzlies Add Jake Marchment to Roster

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies added forward Jake Marchment to the active roster from the AHL's San Diego Gulls.

Marchment, 23, had 10 goals and nine assists for 19 points in 22 games with Utah after being acquired from Colorado on February 15. He was tied as Utah's second-leading scorer in that stretch. Last season, he had 18 goals and 32 points for 50 points in 71 games. Nine of his ten goals with Utah tied games or gave the Grizzlies the lead, including five of his 10 goals that gave Utah 1-0 first period leads. Four of his ten goals came on the power-play.

Marchment has played in 3 games for San Diego in the 2018-19 season, registering 1 assist.

Along with Marchment, defenseman Turner Ottenbreit has also been assigned to the Grizzlies from the AHL's Colorado Eagles.

The Grizzlies begin a 5 game road trip on Thursday in first place in the Mountain Division.
