Salt Lake City, Utah - Utah forward Luke Manning scored on a one-timer 4:46 into the contest but the Bloomington Bison scored 3 unanswered goals in the final 2 periods as they defeated the Utah Grizzlies 3-1 in front of a crowd of 5662 on a Saturday night at Maverik Center.
Luke Manning's one-timer to give Utah the lead was his 5th of the season. Manning has a goal in 3 straight games on the homestand. Utah led 1-0 after one frame. Aiden Hansen-Bukata picked up the main assist on the Manning goal as he is now tied with Danny Dzhaniyev for the club lead with 28 assists.
Bloomington's Lou-Felix Denis tied the game 3:24 into the second period. The game winner was scored by Brad Morrison 15:48 into the second period. The Bison scored an empty net goal by Sullivan Mack 19:47 into the third period.
Utah outshot Bloomington 26 to 23. Bison goaltender Dryden McKay stopped 25 of 26 in the win. Utah's Dominic Basse saved 20 of 22.
Both teams were strong on the penalty kill as Bloomington was 0 for 4 on the power play, Utah was 0 for 3.
