Americans Trade for Forward McInnis, Miles Liberati Traded to the Fuel

Allen Texas - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, have traded defenseman Miles Liberati to the Indy Fuel in exchange for forward Johnny McInnis.

McInnis is a native of Boston, Massachusetts, and played most of last season with the Indy Fuel. In 57 games with Indy, he had 34 points (18 goals and 16 assists). He also played with South Carolina last year and had two goals in seven games.

The 6-2 and 210-pound forward has also spent time in Reading, Orlando and Florida in the ECHL. He also played in two games in the American League with Lake Erie (now Cleveland.)

His best offensive numbers came with Orlando during the 2015-2016 season, where he had 19 goals and 22 assists for 41 points in 72 games.

Miles Liberati played with Allen for parts of three seasons. He had 23 points in 94 games while in Texas. The resident of Cheswick, PA was a former 7th Round pick of the Vancouver Canucks in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
