Solar Bears Blanked by Dekanich's 22 Saves in 3-0 Loss to Stingrays

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears (8-6-1-3), proud affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, fell to the South Carolina Stingrays (11-6-1-1) by a 3-0 score in front of 4,244 on Monday night at the Amway Center.

South Carolina's David Pacan scored a pair of shorthanded goals for the Stingrays in the first period at 11:05 and 18:21.

In the third, Brett Cameron redirected Bobby Shea's shot from the left point past Rob Madore at 4:18 to cap the scoring, as the Solar Bears couldn't solve South Carolina's Mark Dekanich, who finished the night with 22 saves for the shutout and the win for the Stingrays. Madore took the loss for Orlando with 24 saves.
