ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Monday announced the following fines and suspensions.

Adirondack's Curadi, Elmira's Klotz fined, suspended

Adirondack's Luke Curadi and Elmira's Garrett Klotz have both been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of their actions at the conclusion of ECHL Game #246, Elmira at Adirondack, on Nov. 28. Both players were assessed game misconducts under Rule #46.9 and are fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Curadi missed Adirondack's game against Greenville on Nov. 29 and Klotz missed Elmira's game at Brampton today on Nov. 29. Any further discipline will be announced later this week.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Florida's Cowick and Florentino, Colorado's Mychan fined, suspended

The following fines and suspensions have been issued from ECHL Game #238, Florida at Colorado, on Nov. 28.

Florida's Rob Florentino has been suspended for five games for leaving the bench during an altercation under Rules 70.3 and 70.10. He will miss Florida's games at Idaho (Dec. 2, Dec. 4 and Dec. 5) and vs. Reading (Dec. 9 and Dec. 11).

Florida's Corey Cowick has been suspended for one game as a result of his game misconduct under Rule #53.4. He will miss Florida's game at Idaho on Dec. 2.

Colorado's Jesse Mychan has been suspended for a total of six games - five games for leaving the bench during an altercation under Rules 70.3 and 70.10 and one game for receiving an instigator penalty in the final five minutes of regulation under Rules 46.12 and 46.22. He will miss Colorado's games at Alaska (Dec. 2, Dec. 4 and Dec. 5) and vs. Wichita (Dec. 9, Dec. 11 and Dec. 12).

All three players have also been fined an undisclosed amount.
