Fort Worth--Fort Worth Brahmas rookie forward Jimmy Sokol scored two goals, including the game winner in the shootout, to give the Brahmas a 3-2 win over the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs on Sunday afternoon at the Fort Worth Convention Center.

Sokol, who was playing in just his seventh professional game, tied the game at two when he flipped in the rebound of a Chad Woollard shot for a Brahmas powerplay goal at the 7:42 mark of the third period. The powerplay goal for Sokol came after penalties to Bossier forwards Forbes MacPherson and Dan Wildfong gave the Brahmas a two-man advantage.

In the shootout, Sokol was the fifth and final shooter for the Brahmas. He picked up the puck at center ice and then made two moves on Bossier netminder Jeff Blair before slipping the puck between the right arm and right leg of Blair and into the Bugs net.
