Beloit Sky Carp News Release
During the last couple of weeks, Snappy has taken some time out of his busy schedule to go visit the Milton YMCA Youth Baseball Club. The games have taken place every Tuesday and Thursday since June 10th at Lamar Park in Milton. Games were played at both 1:00 and 2:00pm put on by the YMCA of Northern Rock County.
This season the Snappers sponsored baseball teams in Milton, Beloit and Janesville to help support youth sports in the Stateline Area. Snappy and his pals in the front office believe it is important for kids to be active at a young age.
"It is essential for kids to get out and get moving during their youth," said Director of Media and Community Relations/Marketing Erik VanDyck. "We are proud to support youth sports in the area and are looking forward to doing so for many years to come. If these kids get off on the right foot it could help lead them to greater things down the road."
For ticket information on the upcoming Snappers homestand (July 29th - August 3rd) contact a Snappers representative at 608-362-2272 or 1-888-SNAP-2-IT. You can also find information online at www.snappersbaseball.com.
