
Snappers Win Late Once Again

In another wild game at Pohlman Field the Snappers were able to defeat the Cedar Rapids Kernels 8-7 Thursday night.
Danny Rams had a huge day at the plate as he went 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles and three RBI's and a run scored.
Right fielder Angel Morales jumped started the offense by cracking a grand slam over the left center field wall to give the Snappers the 4-0 lead in the fifth inning.
The Kernels came right back with a pair of runs in the top of the sixth to cut the lead.
In the bottom of the frame the Snappers offense continued to roll as they took back their four run lead as Ramon Santana lead off with a double to left field. Rams stepped into the box as crushed his fourth home run since joining the club to give the Snappers the 6-2 lead.
