
Snappers to Hit Links Again on October 1st

BELOIT, WI - The Beloit Snappers have announced that the second 2013 Snappers Golf Classic will be held on Tuesday, October 1st, 2013 at Prairie Woods Golf Course in Avalon, WI. For the second time this season, the Beloit Snappers and friends will be out on the golf course to help benefit the Pohlman Field Improvement Fund.
The event will begin at 1:00pm on October 1st and there will be cocktails and dinner served afterword. The tournament will be a best ball format and is open to the public. The winners will be announced during dinner and prizes will be awarded.
You can register for the golf outing by calling the Snappers at 1-888-SNAP-2-IT or by visiting the Snappers offices at 2301 Skyline Drive. The cost to register is $85 per golfer and $320 for a foursome. The rain date for the event is Wednesday, October 2nd. The deadline to register is Monday, September 23rd.
All proceeds from the outing will benefit the Pohlman Field Improvement Fund. This has been used to subsidize several recent upgrades to the ballpark, including the addition of a new scoreboard, the reconstruction of the ballpark's outfield and the repainting of the Miller "On Deck" in right field.
