Snappers Seeking Seasonal and Temporary Housing
Published on April 6, 2007 under Midwest League (MWL1)
Beloit Sky Carp News Release
With the start of the 26th season for the Snappers getting under way, the annual need for the organization to secure a variety of housing and host family options for the players is under way as well.
The Snappers' front office is currently preparing an inventory of a variety of potential rental opportunities to offer their new players for their stay in Beloit. Any interested party should contact the Snappers' office and submit their housing availability during the months of April to mid September.
"We have situations ranging from players needing full season housing to only needing a couple days worth of housing," said Director of Media and Community Relations Erik VanDyck. "The Snappers are only in town from April to September, so it is tough for them to find living arrangements for this short time period. Anyone who is willing to house players for the duration of these time periods would be greatly appreciated."
Anyone who has units to rent or is interested in possibly being a host family for the Snappers should contact Erik VanDyck at 608-362-2272, evandyck@snappersbaseball.com, or stop by the Pohlman Field located at 2301 Skyline Dr. in Beloit.
Season Tickets, Group Discounts, and Picnic Packages are still available. Contact a Snappers' Representative for more information.
