Burlington Bees News Release

Burlington, IA (April 6, 2007) - High winds and freezing temperatures that will continue to fall throughout the day have forced the postponement of tonight's scheduled game between the Burlington Bees and Kane County Cougars at Community Field. The two teams will attempt a double-header tomorrow afternoon with the first game starting at 2:00. The double-header will consist of two seven-inning games with a half-hour break in between contests.

This schedule changes does NOT affect the plans for tomorrow's Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Burlington Rotary Club. Kids 12 and under can still hunt for eggs in the outfield from 12:00-1:00 and kids can have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny from 12:00-3:00 even as the game is underway.

Tonight's scheduled post-game fireworks show has been rescheduled for Friday, April 27th following the Bees game against the Swing of the Quad Cities. That is the next scheduled Friday night home game for the Bees.

For more information on any of these details, please contact the Bees' front office at (319) 754-5705.
