
Cougars Postponed in Burlington

Burlington, IA - Friday night's game between the Kane County Cougars and Burlington Bees has been postponed due to an extremely cold temperature and wind gusts in Iowa. The contest will be made up Saturday afternoon as part of a doubleheader that begins at 2 CDT. The teams will play a pair of seven-inning games with a 30-minute gap in between. Both games will be broadcast on WBIG Radio 1280-AM and via the internet.
The Cougars (0-1), who lost to the Bees (1-0) Thursday night, 6-3, in the season opener, will send right-hander Inoel Deaza to the mound in Game 1, and left-hander Joe Piekarz will handle Game 2.
