Beloit Sky Carp News Release
Due to frigid weather conditions the Beloit Snappers have canceled their game this afternoon, April 6th, against the Cedar Rapids Kernels. Player safety and fan comfort came into play as the Snappers announced the cancellation for the second straight day. Tonight's game will be made up as part of a double-header TOMORROW, April 7th. The Snappers and Kernels will play two 7 inning games starting at 1:00 pm. There will be a 30 minute break in between games.
All tickets purchased to today's game will be good for any other Snappers regular season home game during the 2007 season. Tickets can be exchanged in advance at the Snappers Front Office.
Ticket's purchased to tomorrow's regularly scheduled game will now be good for both games of the double-header. Contact a Snappers' Representative for more information.
Season Tickets, Group Discounts, and Picnic Packages are still available. Contact a Snappers' representative at 608-362-2272, www.snappersbaseball.com, or stop by Pohlman Field at 2301 Skyline Dr. in Beloit for more information.
Only 43 more days until former Chicago Cub and new Peoria Chiefs' manager, Ryne Sandberg, makes his first appearance in Beloit! Sandberg and his Chiefs will take on the Snappers on May 19-20 and again June 21-24. Get your tickets now!
Don't forget, Snappy has two tickets on him at all times when he is outside of Pohlman Field. Be the first to spot Snappy in public and shout "Snapper-tastic."
