
Snappers lose to Rattlers for the second straight game

The Snappers lost to the Timber Rattlers for the second straight game, 3-2. Beloit took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning. Beloit tacked on another run in the bottom of the fourth to lead 2-0. The Timber Rattlers answered with two runs of their on in the top of the fifth to tie the game. Beloit's offense went silent the rest of the way. The Timber Rattlers scored one run in the top of the eighth to win 3-2.
The Snappers trail Kane County for the wildcard playoff spot with one game to go. The Snappers need to win and Kane County needs to lose for Beloit to make the playoffs. The Snappers have the tie breaker advantage over Kane County and would make the playoffs if the two teams ended the season tied.
Upcoming Schedule: The Snappers and Timber Rattlers wrap up this four game series Monday, September 5th at Pohlman Field. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 pm.
