
Snappers Lose Fifth Straight

Burlington grabbed a 1-0 lead in the top of the fifth on an unearned run off Beloit starting pitcher Eddie Morlan. Edward Ovalle gave the Snappers a 2-1 lead with his two run single in the bottom of the fifth. The Bees loaded the bases in the top of the eighth and plated three runs, taking a 4-2 lead. The Snappers were unable to close the gap, losing their fifth game in a row for the second time this season.
The Snappers are now 22-23 on the season, the Bees are 22-22.
Upcoming Schedule: The Snappers and Bees play the second game of their four-game series Friday, May 26 at Pohlman Field. First pitch is set for 6:30 pm.
