
Sloppy Loss Drops Evansville

Evansville Otters News Release
Evansville, Ind. - Evansville is now five games under .500 as Rockford scored in every inning except two in an 11-3 win over the Otters to take the three game series. Sloppy defense hurt the Otters as they made six errors on the night.
Garret Bauer (5-2), the All-Star starting pitcher for Rockford, went seven innings and struck out six. Bauer has now allowed just two runs in his 14 innings of work against Evansville this season. Luke Hetherington led the offense as he went 3-4, while Daniel Burton and Justin Randall both added two hits.
Evansville has an off day on Monday before returning to the field on Tuesday at 7:05 CDT as they welcome in the Midwest Sliders.
