Sky Sox Come from Behind to Down Cats

West Sacramento, Calif. - The Sacramento River Cats fell to the Colorado Spring Sky Sox, 3-2, on Friday night at Raley Field, snapping the team's two-game winning streak. The Cats led the game, 2-0, and held the Sky Sox scoreless until the top half of the 7th inning when Colorado Springs tied the game on a 2-run double by Jeff Baker. The Sky Sox followed with another run in the top of the 8th to take a lead they would not relinquish. Scott McClain led the Sacramento offense, going 2-for-4 with a run, RBI and solo home run. Cats lefty Ron Flores took his 2nd loss of the season, despite allowing just one unearned run. With the loss, Sacramento falls to 51-49 on the season and remains 12 games back of Tucson.
