Sky Sox Announce College Night at the Ballpark

Colorado Springs Sky Sox News Release
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - The Colorado Springs Sky Sox are excited to announce that Thursday, August 26th will be College Night at the ballpark as the Sky Sox take on their division rivals, the Salt Lake Bees at 6:05 PM. The night is made possible by Verizon Wireless and will feature $5 Upper Reserved seat tickets (that's $4 off the regular price) for all fans that present a valid current student ID. In addition, one lucky fan that comes to the game will win Ramen Noodles for an entire year.
The gates open at 5:00 PM and as part of the festivities for the evening all fans will have the opportunity to be the taste testers in the Sky Sox annual "Wing Fest" contest. Seven area vendors will be out in the plaza entrance area before the game passing out samples of their best chicken wings and fans will vote on who is the "Best Wing" in town. Participating vendors are Wendy's, Domino's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Fox & Hound, Hooters, Wild Wings N Things and Nawlins BBQ. Also part of the pre-game party will be a live concert starting at 5:00 PM featuring The Myth of Modern Medicine.
