'Skate with the Syracuse Crunch' at the Onondaga Nation Arena

Syracuse, NY (November 12, 2003) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that Crunch players Aaron Johnson, Ben Knopp, Joe Motzko, Todd Rohloff, Tyler Sloan, Brandon Sugden and Paul Traynor will be skating and signing autographs at Tsha'Hon'nonyen'dakhwa on Sunday, November 23 from 4:30pm – 6:00pm.

Tsha'Hon'nonyen'dakhwa arena is located just south of Nedrow on Rt.11 (Salina Street) next to Onondaga Nation Smoke Shop. Take I-81 Exit 16 and go north ¼ mile. Parking is free. Call the arena at 498-6813 for more info on arena events.

Tsha'Hon'nonyen'dakhwa is the Official Practice Facility of the Syracuse Crunch.

All are welcome to be a part of this fundraising event which goes toward supporting the Onondaga Nation Sports Teams.

Crunch players will be competing in a Hardest Shot Competition which will clock their slap shot by the arena's radar gun.

Crunch souvenirs and pictures will be given away, as supplies last, to fans attending the Family Skate. Family Skate is from 4:15 pm-7:15 pm.

Family Skate Admission is: $10 Family Rate (up to 5 members)

$3 Adult

$2 Child (under 12)

free admission for 4 years and under

Tsha'Hon'nonyen'dakhwa is also the practice facility of the CNY Synchronettes skaters. The CNY Synchronettes practice from 2-4 pm every Sunday and welcome all Crunch fans to come early and enjoy the afternoon by watching their practice as they prepare for competition out of state.

The Crunch host the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks on Saturday, November 15. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.
