Silvertips Announce Streaming Coverage for Delta Hotels Preseason Classic for All Nine Games

EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips (@WHLSilvertips), proud members of the Western Hockey League, announced today that all nine games for the Delta Hotels Preseason Classic in downtown Everett, starting Aug. 31 will include online play-by-play streaming coverage, courtesy www.everettsilvertips.com.

Streaming coverage will open shortly before scheduled puck drop, featuring the Silvertips, their four opponents from the U.S. Division, and the Vancouver Giants, lone visitors from the B.C. Division.

Mike Benton, entering his fourth season as radio voice of the Silvertips, will handle play-by-play coverage of all three Silvertips games during the tourney, joined by Justin Morrison for color analysis. Morrison, Dan Todoroff, Jamie Fleek, and Greg Wilson will share play-by-play duties for all morning and afternoon games of the tournament, starting at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 31 when the Vancouver Giants face the Seattle Thunderbirds.

The Silvertips enter this season as defending Western Conference champions, and will face rematches each night of the tournament with opponents from their first three rounds of the WHL Playoffs.

The Silvertips will open the 2018-19 preseason schedule with the Delta Hotels Preseason Classic this Friday, Aug. 31 at Angel of the Winds Arena, 7:00 p.m. against the Tri-City Americans. The three-day event starts at 11:30 a.m. on Friday with tickets on sale online, by phone, or in person at the Silvertips offices. All preseason tickets - offering general admission seating for Tips home games - are available at http://everettsilvertips.com/preseason.
