Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers are excited to announce the signing of 2017 Bantam Draft pick Brayden Kapty to a standard WHL Player Agreement.

"Brayden is a smooth skating puck moving defenceman. He anticipates the play well and has a good stick defensively. He came into camp and made an impression and is trending upward in his development." said Bobby Fox, Director of Player Personnel.

Kapty played last season for the Lethbridge Hurricanes Minor Midget in the AMMHL. The 6'0, 160 lb Coalhurst, AB native had 41 points (6G, 35A) in 35 games played.

"We are delighted that Brayden has made the decision to join our organization. We would like to welcome Brayden and his entire family to the Tigers and look forward to working together in the future," said Shaun Clouston, General Manager and Head Coach.
