
Pre-Season Preview: Blades Visit Raiders for Young Guns Showdown

Saskatoon Blades News Release
Tonight - The Saskatoon Blades open the 2018 pre-season schedule in Prince Albert against the Raiders. It's the annual "Young Guns" game as both squads will ice mostly rookies and prospects. It's the first of 4 exhibition meetings between the Blades and Raiders. Tonight is the only game on the WHL schedule, the first for both teams this year.
The roster - The Blades are currently carrying 33 players on the pre-season roster including three 15-year-olds from the most recent 2018 WHL Bantam Draft. Defenceman Marek Schneider will make his WHL debut in his hometown of Prince Albert, 1st round selection Colton Dach will suit up alongside his older brother Kirby, and recent signee Sammy May will also be in the lineup. The entire lineup will be posted on the Blades Twitter feed closer to game time.
