
Sidewinders to host third annual charity golf tournament

Tucson, AZ - The Tucson Sidewinders will swing into action to help needy kids find loving homes when they host the 3rd Annual Wells Fargo/Sidewinders Celebrity Charity Golf Classic benefiting Christian Family Care Agency (CFCA), a child adoption and foster care agency. The event will take place April 26th at the Arizona National Golf Course with a 12:30 p.m. tee time.
The 12:30 p.m. shotgun start will be preceded by registration, and mulligan and raffle ticket sales. Lunch will be served prior to the tournament and an awards banquet with raffle and barbecue dinner will immediately follow at approximately 5:30 p.m.
"The Sidewinders feel that impacting our community is an integral part of our mission," said Sidewinders General Manager Rick Parr. "Adoptions, foster care, and teen pregnancy support are three critical issues that every community faces. The Sidewinders are pleased to work an agency like CFCA who does tremendous work in these areas."
