TODAY'S GAME: The RedHawks continue their eight-game homestand against Nashville. This is their 19th game of the season, 11th home game and seventh game against Nashville.
LAST GAME: Last night's game was suspended after the second inning due to impending inclement weather with Oklahoma leading 1-0. It will be resumed July 23 as part of a doubleheader. Jason Botts hit a home run for the RedHawks in the first innings. However, it will not count toward his stats until the game is completed in July.
VS. NASHVILLE: The RedHawks were swept by the Sounds April 14-17 in Nashville . Nashville out-hit the RedHawks in all four games of the series and out-scored them 35-16. They broke a seven-game losing streak to the Sounds (including two playoff games) with Sunday's win.
PITCHING MATCHUP: Starting pitcher John Hudgins makes his first start of the year for the RedHawks. He was 1-0 with a 5.79 ERA (6 ER/9.1 IP) in four relief outings. He earned the win April 19 in Memphis , going 3.1 innings and giving up one run on two hits. Righty Dennis Sarfate starts for Nashville. He started against Oklahoma April 15 in Nashville . He did not factor into the decision, going 4.1 innings and giving up five runs, four earned on seven hits.
CLOSE GAMES: Eight of Oklahoma 's 10 losses this season have come by four runs or less. They have two losses each of one run, two runs, three runs and four runs. Also, seven of Oklahoma's seven wins have come by four runs or less, including four one-run wins.

JAMIE BURKE: Catcher and third baseman Jamie Burke has raised his batting average 95 points from .196 to .291 in the last two games. He is seven-for-nine (.778) at the plate in his last two games with three RBIs.
JASON BOTTS: First baseman Jason Botts is on a six-game hit streak dating back to April 18. He is batting .417 (10-for-24) with five RBIs during the streak.
HEART OF THE ORDER: The 3-4-5 batters in the Oklahoma lineup are 21-for-50 (.420) with 12 RBIs in Oklahoma's last four games. They had all five of Oklahoma's RBIs in Sunday's game.
HOME RUNS: The last eight RedHawk home runs have been solo homers. Six of those led off an inning. The last two-run homer by a RedHawk was April 12 against Round Rock when Will Smith hit one in the ninth inning. The RedHawks have no three-run home runs or grand slams this year.
CROOKED NUMBERS: By scoring three runs in the seventh inning Sunday, the RedHawks broke a streak of 77 innings without scoring more than two runs in one inning.
DOT-DOT-DOTS: Yesterday's game was the first game affected by rain at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark since Aug. 7 of last year when that night's game against Portland was postponed. The game was not made up ... LHP Brian Shouse has been added to the RedHawks' roster on MLB rehab. He was placed on the DL April 22 with a strained right calf.
