Shred-It Night at McCormick Field Friday

Shred-it Greenville (www.shredit.com/greenville), which specializes in providing secure on-site document destruction and Asheville Tourist are joining forces to hold an identity theft awareness and free shredding event for the public. The event will be at McCormick Field on April 22nd (rain or shine) from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm. For more information, call 864-395-0900 or visit www.shredit.com/greenville.
Asheville Tourist and Shred-it employees will be on hand to accept personal documents that people want destroyed in Shred-it's secure on-site mobile shredders.
"Given that nearly 25 million Americans experience consumer fraud each year, it is imperative people take appropriate steps to protect themselves and their identity," said John Stewart, regional sales manager of Shred-it. "One of the best deterrents of preventing consumer fraud is to destroy your documents in a safe and secure manner, so we encourage people to help ¬Ëshred' identity theft by participating in this event."
