Shorebirds Game Suspended in Fourth Inning

Kannapolis, NC - Prior to the bottom of the fourth inning, the Shorebirds were called off the field due to heavy rain at CMC-Northeast Stadium. The game never resumed and was suspended in a 0-0 tie in the bottom of the fourth inning. The game will be resumed at a to-be-determined date when the Shorebirds return to Kannapolis in August.

Williams Louico tossed four shutout innings and did not allow a run on just two hits. Erik Johnson tossed three scoreless innings.
