PREVIEW: The Shorebirds surrendered two home runs in game three and fell 5-1 on Monday. The 'Birds managed only four hits against Miguel De Los Santos and Matt Thompson. With 13 games left, the Shorebirds are 11.0 games behind first place Lakewood. The Shorebirds are 6-16 in the month of August with a league high staff ERA at 5.06.

KELLY ON-BASE STREAK: Shorebirds third baseman Ty Kelly has reached base in nine straight games dating back to August 15. In 16 games batting third in the order, Kelly is hitting .298 (17-57).

BUNDY TREMENDOUS: In his last two starts, Bobby Bundy has thrown 16 innings and has allowed just eight hits and two runs. He threw a nine-inning complete game against Lakewood on 8/16. Through four starts in August, Bundy has only issued six walks. In five starts in July, he walked 14 batters in 25 innings.

FIVE-GAMER: Mike Flacco takes a five-game hit streak into the series finale against Hickory. He is 6-for-21 during the stretch. Flacco has hit safely in 20 of the 27 games he has appeared in this season.

FOURTH STRAIGHT: The Shorebirds will finish the season at home for a fourth straight year. The last time they ended on the road was 2006.
