PREVIEW: Following a 5-1 win on Thursday, the Shorebirds go for their third series win of the series in the finale against Greenville. Parker Bridwell and Jake Cowan allowed just three combined hits to lead the Shorebirds to victory last night. Gabriel Lino connected on a two-run single in the first inning. The Shorebirds scored four of their five runs in the first. The Shorebirds are back in third place, three games behind the Hickory Crawdads.
9.0 IP, NO ER: After three innings last night, Jake Cowan has now pitched nine straight innings (three outings) without giving up an earned run. After five appearances (12.2), he has allowed one earned run (0.71 ERA).

ON-BASE STREAKS: Glynn Davis has reached base in 15 straight games while Brenden Webb has reached base in 14 straight games. Davis' streak is the fifth longest active in the SAL.
