Delmarva Shorebirds News Release
Charleston, WV - For the second straight night, the Delmarva Shorebirds have been rained out in West Virginia. Friday's game has been postponed due to rain, setting up doubleheaders on both Saturday and Sunday at Applachian Power Park.
With a pair of rainouts, the Shorebirds and Power must now play back-to-back doubleheaders over the weekend. Saturday's doubleheader will start at 5:05 pm, with the Sunday twinbill beginning at 12:05 pm. All four games will consist of seven-inning contests.
The Shorebirds will be trying to snap a six-game losing skid, as they finish up the first half in West Virginia. Two left-handers, Luis Gonzalez (1-0, 1.69) and Steven Brault (6-2, 2.88), are scheduled to start for Delmarva on Saturday evening.
