Make Dad a VIP at Whitaker Bank Ballpark

(WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK, Lexington, Ky.) The Lexington Legends are offering several options for a great Father's Day.

A special pregame VIP experience this Sunday will include a meet and greet session with Legends players and coaches, a clubhouse tour, time to play catch on the field at Whitaker Bank Ballpark, home and garden question-and -answer session with the Diamond Landscape Grounds Crew, and an all-you-can eat buffet. Dads with the VIP experience ticket will also be eligible for door prizes, including a round of golf for two at Andover Golf & Country Club, gift cards from Home Depot and more.

The VIP experience ticket is only $29 for dads and includes a ticket to the Legends game Sunday night against the Charleston RiverDogs, an affiliate of the New York Yankees. First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m. The all-you-can eat buffet is available for other family members ($21) and children ($18).

Purchase of a full-price box seat ticket will allow dads to play catch on the field from 4:30 - 5 p.m.

Father's Day at the ballpark will also include a special appearance by Curious George. A meet and greet with the star of children's books will be held from 5-6 p.m. with three ticket options: meet and greet advance ticket purchase: $12 (Includes game ticket, admission to event and a Better Bites meal voucher); meet and greet ticket purchased on day of event: $14.00 (includes game ticket, admission to event and a Better Bites meal voucher); or adult ticket, no food: $7.00 (includes game ticket and admission to event).

Finally, the Legends will be raising money for Ed Randall's Bat for the Cure, which supports prostate cancer research. A special edition blue bat will be autographed by 2014 Legends players and sold at auction during the game.
