SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that defenseman Shayne Taker has been released from his Professional Try Out (PTO).
Taker, 25 (2/12/90), has appeared in three games with San Diego this season, going scoreless with a +1 rating. The Vancouver, BC, native has appeared in 24 games with Utah (ECHL) this season, collecting 4-9=13 points with a +11 rating.
