Sharks recall forwards Benn Ferriero, Jamie McGinn and Logan Couture

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled forwards Benn Ferriero, Jamie McGinn and Logan Couture from the Worcester Sharks, the team's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

Ferriero has played in 18 games with San Jose this season, posting two goals and three assists.

The five-foot ten, 185-pound native of Boston, Massachusetts was signed by San Jose as a free agent on Sept. 1, 2009.

McGinn has played in 17 games with San Jose this season, posting three goals points.

The six-foot, 195-pound Fergus, Ontario native was originally selected by San Jose in the second round (36th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

Couture has played in 10 games with the Sharks, posting two points (one goal, one assist).

The six-foot-one, 195-pound native of London, Ontario native was originally selected by San Jose in the first round (9th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
