Sharks Prospect Danill Tarasov Joins Bulls

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The San Francisco Bulls Professional Hockey Team, proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced today that right wing Danill Tarasov has been loaned by their AHL affiliate, the Worcester Sharks. Prospects from the Sharks on the Bulls now total five, including Thomas Heemskerk, Taylor Nelson, Mikael Tam and Marek Viedensky. In addition, Kevin Baker was traded to the South Carolina Stingrays for future considerations.

Tarasov, 21, is in his first year of professional hockey. He began the season with Worcester, playing in one game. The 6-foot, 195-pound, native of Moscow, Russia, ranked second in the United States Hockey League (USHL) last season with 88 points (47 goals, 41 assists) in 60 games. Tarasov was named to the 2011-12 All-USHL First Team. In 2010-11, Tarasov was named to the All-USHL Second Team, finishing second in the league with 75 points (37 goals, 38 assists) in 57 games.

Baker, 25, in his first year of professional hockey recorded six points (4 goals, 2 assists) in 11 games with the Bulls.
