APPLEBEE'S PARK (Lexington, Ky.) - The Augusta GreenJackets had no trouble scoring runs on the Sunday of the Masters as they secured the series win against the Lexington Legends 10-4.

San Francisco Giants top prospect Angel Villalona clubbed a grand slam in the seventh inning to break open a 4-4 tie.

The GreenJackets opened the game with three runs in the first inning off Lexington starter Thomas Brewer. Augusta's first inning runs marked the fifth straight game that the Legends had failed to score first. The first three GreenJacket batters reached base to start the game and Shane Jordan scored the first run of the game on Garret Baker's sacrifice fly. Brock Bond then doubled home Ramon Corona and Nick Noonan to give the GreenJackets a three run lead.

The Legends fought back from their early deficit with runs in the first three innings. Designated hitter Russell Dixon doubled home Steve Brown who had reached on a throwing error from Villalona.

Lexington catcher Kevin Carkeek led off the home half of the second inning with a line drive home run into the left field bleachers. Collin DeLome gave the Legends the lead in the third inning when he launched his own two-run bomb to right field.

The Legends kept their 4-3 lead until the seventh inning when Lexington reliever Jake Leonhardt allowed the first three Augusta batters to reach on two singles and a throwing error from first baseman Eric Taylor. Brock Bond then singled home Ramon Corona to tie the game. Villalona, ranked the top prospect in the Giants farm system by Baseball America, then greeted reliever Reid Kelly with a grand slam into the left field bleachers. Augusta added single runs in the eighth and ninth innings against the Lexington bullpen.

The Legends pen surrendered six runs in the game.

GreenJackets shortstop Ramon Corona added three more hits in the game to continue his hot hitting in Lexington. Corona now has eight hits with three home runs, seven runs scored and six RBIs on the series.

The Legends and GreenJackets will conclude their series Monday night. The Legends will start right-hander Leandro Cespedes against Augusta before heading on the road for a six game trip against Hickory and West Virginia.
