Fresno Falcons News Release

FRESNO, Calif. – Chandar Sports Chairman Charles Davenport introduced Greg Schuh (pr: shoe) today as Senior Vice President of the Fresno Falcons Professional Hockey Club.

Schuh arrives in Fresno after serving as General Manager, Business Operations, for the United States Hockey League's Topeka Scarecrows. He will be responsible for the Falcons' day-to-day business operations in addition to preparing the organization for its move into the Save Mart Center and the East Coast Hockey League next fall.

"I feel that Greg Schuh is an exciting addition to the Falcons organization," said Davenport. "He brings a wealth of creativity and experience to this position, which will serve us well as he guides the franchise into the Save Mart Center and ECHL.

"I am very excited to be here in Fresno with the opportunity to head-up this franchise," remarked Schuh. "I look forward to working with Head Coach and General Manager Blaine Moore, who has done an excellent job putting together a quality, competitive hockey team. It's also exciting and certainly challenging to be a part of all the new changes that this organization will embrace in 2003.

Prior to his work with the Scarecrows from 1998-2002, Schuh owned and operated Collegiate Sports Design, Inc., a souvenir marketing company for which he was named an Ernst & Young/INC. Magazine "Entrepreneur of the Year" finalist in 1993. During his 12 years running his own business, Schuh created souvenir-marketing programs for the NCAA, NAIA, ABC Sports and the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics. His wife, Carey, and three sons currently reside in Burlington, KS.
