FRESNO, Calif. â Fresno Falcons head coach and general manager Blaine Moore waived forward Austin de Luis today. The rookie, who spent the previous four seasons at Bowling Green State University, departs after producing eight points (6g-2a) in 25 games played. His six goals were the fourth most among first-year players in the league.
The Falcons return to the ice tomorrow and Saturday against the first-place Idaho Steelheads at Selland Arena. Both games begin at 7:30 p.m. with the first 1,500 fans receiving a Falcons tankard mug on Friday and a Falcons sports bag on Saturday. This current five-game home stand draws to a close on Sunday at 5 p.m. with the arrival of the Long Beach Ice Dogs.
