Senators Trade Chris Kelly to the Boston Bruins for Second-Round Draft Pick in 2011

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 15, 2011) - Ottawa Senators general manager Bryan Murray announced today the club has acquired the Boston Bruins' second-round draft pick in the 2011 National Hockey League Entry Draft in exchange for forward Chris Kelly .

Kelly, 30, who is in his sixth full season in the NHL, has played all 463 games of his career with the Senators, registering 75 goals, 101 assists and 176 penalty minutes. He has recorded 12 goals, 11 assists and 27 penalty minutes while appearing in each of Ottawa's 57 games to date this season.

A native of Toronto, Kelly was originally selected with Ottawa's third-round pick, 94th overall, in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.
