B-Sens Reassign Yannick Tifu to Elmira

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have reassigned forward Yannick Tifu to the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Tifu, 26, was recalled from Elmira for the first time this season on Feb. 3. He appeared in five games for the B-Sens, registering an assist in Sunday's 4-3 victory over the Adirondack Phantoms.

The 5-11, 185-pound forward has appeared in 42 games with Elmira this season. He currently ranks second overall on the Jackals in scoring with 45 points (14 goals, 31 assists), has amassed 66 penalty minutes and is a plus-eight.

A native of Brossard, Que., Tifu has now appeared in 76 career AHL games with Albany, Binghamton and Rochester recording 31 points (9 goals, 22 assists) and amassing 54 penalty minutes.

The B-Sens host the Charlotte Checkers at 7:05 p.m. this Friday. Tickets are $17.75 for side seating, $16.75 for end seating.
