Left-hander Erik Sabrowski began the sixth inning and allowed Wood's leadoff home run, House's double and Tostado's RBI single to make it 6-0. After a leadoff walk in the seventh, right-hander Trey Benton entered and allowed three hits, scoring two more runs, before striking out three straight hitters. Right-hander Jordan Jones worked around a walk and hit in a scoreless eighth inning.

The RubberDucks managed only a walk in the first four innings against Harrisburg right-hander Michael Cuevas. Their first hit was second baseman Juan Brito's two-out single in the seventh inning, which extended his 22-game on-base streak, the longest active streak in the Eastern League.
