
Senators Recall Forwards Corey Locke and Roman Wick from Binghamton

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 25, 2011) - The Ottawa Senators today recalled forwards Corey Locke and Roman Wick from the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators .
Locke, 26, was recalled to Ottawa for the first time on Jan. 12 and recorded his first National Hockey League point, an assist, in Ottawa's 6-4 victory over the New York Islanders on Jan 13. The Toronto native has one point and no penalty minutes in three games with the Senators this season.
Locke currently leads the AHL in scoring with 72 points on 18 goals and 54 assists in 51 games with the B-Sens. The former Ottawa 67's player has 17 multi-point games this season.
This is 25-year-old Wick's first call-up to Ottawa and the NHL. In his first season in the AHL with Binghamton, the native of Kloten, Switzerland, has 12 goals, 14 assists and 16 penalty minutes in 53 games. He has recorded four multi-point games, including his first hat trick on Jan. 22 in a 4-2 win over the Manchester Monarchs.
Wick was the Senators' second fifth-round pick (156th overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
The B-Sens, tied for fourth place in the AHL's East Division with a 31-20-3-3 record and 68 points, next see action on Friday, Feb. 25, when they visit the Syracuse Crunch.
