See The Hounds This Tuesday In Warren

The Youngstown SteelHounds will return to town soon and fans will have their first chance to see them on Tuesday, December 11th. The Hounds will be at the new Courthouse Square Skating Rink in Downtown Warren from 6:00 - 8:00 pm to take part in the annual BIG-106.1 Holiday Party and Cookie Contest.

The Hounds will serve as judges for the Holiday Cookie Contest. Admission is free and for more information call Clear Channel Radio-Youngstown at (330) 965-0057.

The Hounds return to the Chevrolet Centre for games December 12th, 14th and 15th when they take on the Texas Brahmas as part of "Kids Month" at the Chevrolet Centre. All games are scheduled for 7:05pm and tickets are on sale for as little as $8.00. All kids ages 15 and under will receive $2.00 off any price level seat (excluding Family Section) when accompanied by an adult. It is also Toys For Tots weekend and fans are encouraged to donate toys throughout the home stand. In addition, on Friday the 14th the first 500 kids 12 & under will receive a SteelHounds Youth Jersey, Courtesy of Armstrong. Saturday the 15th will be the annual "Teddy Bear Toss." Fans can bring teddy bears to throw onto the ice after the Hounds score their first goal. All teddy bears collected will be donated to Toys For Tots.

This year there will be a new twist to the SteelHounds Teddy Bear Toss. All fans bringing a stuffed penguin to be donated will receive a ticket good for one free child's admission to the National Aviary. The National Aviary will be bringing a live African Penguin to the Chevrolet Centre on Saturday the 15th to participate in the festivities.
