KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (June 2, 2015) - The Kannapolis Intimidators are once against hosting a special All-American Community Celebration for Independence Day on Saturday, July 4, at Intimidators Stadium presented by Carolinas HealthCare System. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. with an Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are only $5.00 for an evening of fun-filled festivities and can be purchased by calling the F&M Bank Box Office at (704) 932-3267 or visiting IntimidatorsBaseball.com.
The All-American Community Celebration, presented by the Kannapolis Intimidators, will feature a stadium full of carnival-like entertainment and a special little league game to be played on the field under the lights. An expanded Kid's Zone will feature inflatables, a carousel, and the Pit Stop Playground. Children are encouraged to wear their red, white, and blue to participate in a special patriotic parade around the field leading up to the fireworks show. The evening will end with Independence Day fireworks set to patriotic music. Admission for the entire evening's festivities is only $5 and $4 for children 12 and under as well as seniors 55 and older.
July 4 will also be RideNow Powersports Night at the ballpark with free parking for motorcycles.
The Intimidators will host post-game fireworks presented by the City of Kannapolis after their home game on Friday, July 3, against the West Virginia Power. Gates open that night at 6 p.m. with first pitch at 7:05 p.m. Tickets for both July 3 and July 4 are on sale now, and fans are encouraged to order tickets in advance as both events are expected to draw capacity crowds.
