Ryan O'Hearn led a 16-hit Lexington attack as the Legends rolled past the Rome Braves 10-2 Tuesday night in Rome.

O'Hearn had four hits in six at bats and drove in two runs. All nine Legends batters had at least one hit.

The Legends took a 2-0 lead in the third inning. With two outs, Alfredo Escalera struck out but reached first base on a wild pitch. Escalera stole second base and came home on a double by Elier Hernandez, who had three hits in the game. A single by O'Hearn brought Hernandez home with the second run.

Rome tied the game in the bottom of the third. Omar Obregon's bases-loaded single produced one run, and a wild pitch allowed another.

The Legends did all the scoring after that. They added a run in the fourth when Escalera's two-out single scored Michael Hill, who had walked earlier. In the sixth, Arteaga's sacrifice fly scored Corey Toups, who had tripled, and the Legends added three more runs in the seventh on one play. Hernandez was hit by a pitch and moved to third on O'Hearn's double. With two outs, Luis Villegas walked to load the bases, and a wild pitch by Francisco Gonzalez plus a throwing error by catcher Bryan De La Rosa allowed all three runners to score, giving the Legends a 7-2 lead.

In the eighth, Arteaga was hit by a pitch, moved to third on a double by Hernandez and scored on a single by O'Hearn. Hernandez later came home on a wild pitch. Hernandez' single in the ninth scored Hill, who had doubled, with the final run.

Kyle Zimmer (1-0), who relieved starter Scott Blewett in the bottom of the third, got the win. He worked two innings, allowed two hits and no runs, didn't walk a batter and struck out five.

Colin Rodgers allowed three hits and no runs over the last five innings and earned his first save.

Rome reliever Carlos Salazar (1-3), who entered the game in the fourth inning, took the loss.

Each team has won one game in the series, which concludes with an afternoon game Wednesday. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
