The Rawlings KHSAA State Baseball Tournament returns to Whitaker Bank Ballpark Monday, June 1st to Saturday, June 6th. Click here to purchase tickets!

The Legends lost the series against the Greenville Drive this past weekend 1-3. The offense continues to improve as the team batting average was .229 in April, and increased to .270 in May. The Legends lead the entire league in home runs! RHP Kyle Zimmer joined the Legends and pitched a little more than an inning in relief Friday night. Zimmer was the 5th overall pick in the 2012 draft. The Legends return to Whitaker Bank Ballpark Tuesday, June 9th for a three game series against the Lakewood BlueClaws (Phillies) and four game series against the Greensboro Grasshoppers (Marlins).

Legends on Sunday Night Baseball!

The game between the Lexington Legends and the Greensboro Grasshoppers at Whitaker Bank Ballpark Sunday June 14th will be televised across the country on American Sports Network, a part of Sinclair Networks Group. The game is part of the MiLB's "Sunday Showcase."

The game will be televised on WTVQ-2, the MyNetwork affiliate in Lexington. On Time Warner Cable that is channel 138 and 917 (HD).

Baseball Across the Region, a celebration of the All-Star Summer in Cincinnati, Comes to Whitaker Bank Ballpark Sunday, June 14th. Launched in February, the official baseball will travel throughout the region to generate excitement for the 86th MLB All-Star Game on July 14th at Great American Ballpark. The ceremony stems from the tradition of the passing of the Olympic torch in anticipation of the Olympics.

The 4th KY Kick Fest comes to the Clarion hotel June 14th. The semi-annual event is the largest sneaker event in Lexington. Shoe collectors commonly known as "sneakerheads" come from all over the tri-state area to buy, sell, trade, or just display the rarest and hard-to-find sneakers. Whitaker Bank Ballpark is the location of the official after party.
