Sea Dogs Playoff Tickets Go on Sale Monday

Portland, Maine- Portland Sea Dogs' playoff tickets will go on sale at 9:00 AM on Monday, August 18th. Playoff tickets can be purchased in person at the Hadlock Field ticket office, by phone at 207-879-9500, or order online at www.seadogs.com.

Playoff tickets are priced the same as regular season ticket prices. Box seats are $10.00 for adults and $9.00 for kids and seniors. Reserved seats are $9.00 for adults and $8.00 for kids and seniors. While General Admission seats are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids and seniors. Group rates are available for parties of 20 or more.

The top two teams from each division qualify for post-season play. Currently the Sea Dogs own the best record in the Eastern League at 75-50 and have a 1.0 game lead over the Binghamton Mets and a 14.5 game lead over third place New Britain. The Sea Dogs magic number to clinch a playoff berth is five.

The Eastern League playoffs are set to start on Wednesday, September 3rd. The top two teams in each division will play each other in a best of five series. The first place team hosts games 3, 4 (if necessary), and 5 (if necessary). The second place team hosts games 1 and 2. The winners of those two series will square off in a best of five Eastern League Championship Series. The Eastern Division Champion will host games 3, 4 (if necessary), and 5 (if necessary). The Western Division Champion will host games 1 and 2.

Refunds will be given to any playoff game not played. Tuesday, September 30th is the last day to return any playoff tickets from games Not Played for a refund. You Must save your ticket from these games to get a refund.
