PART TWO OF THE HOMESTAND : The Portland Sea Dogs continue their six-game homestand on Friday night against the Akron RubberDucks (Indians affiliate) at Hadlock Field...Portland is 3-3 during a 15-game stretch against the Western Divsion, dropping two of three to start the homestand against Bowie...Tonight, right-hander Durin O'Linger makes his Double-A debut...He's replacing Teddy Stankiewicz, who was promoted earlier today to Triple-A Pawtucket.
TOUGH SIXTH INNING : Bowie scored six unearned runs in the sixth inning to grab the series finale from Portland, 7-5 on Thursday morning...The Sea Dogs jumped out to a 2-1 lead on RBI doubles from Danny Mars and Jeremy Rivera...Portland committed three errors during the sixth...Audry Perez capped off the frame with a three-run homer with two outs...Lefty Brian Gonzalez earned his first Double-A win for Bowie.
