The Sea Dogs and Altoona Curve wrap up their four-game series on Sunday afternoon at Hadlock Field...Portland has their best record since finishing the season 83-58.

NEWS AND NOTES

LOOKING FOR THE SWEEP : The Sea Dogs look for the six-game-season-series sweep of the Altoona Curve (Pirates affiliate) on Sunday afternoon at Hadlock Field...On Friday night, the two teams completed a suspended game from June 11th in Altoona, so Portland has technically won four games this weekend at Hadlock Field...Portland has their best record since finishing the season at 83-58 in 1996...Today completes an 18-game stretch for the 'Dogs against the Western Division.

THAT WAS THEIR FOURTH : Portland swept their fourth doubleheader this season, beating the Curve 5-1 and 3-2 on Saturday night...In the opener, LHP Brian Johnson (6-1) tossed the first complete-game of his professional career, yielding just six hits on one run, no walks and four strikeouts...1B David Chester knocked home three runs in the first inning with a double...C Blake Swihart added a two-run single...In game two, Swihart went 2-for-2 with a homer and 2 RBI...RHP Michael Olmsted worked two scoreless frames in relief of LHP Robby Scott to earn his third win of the year...RHP Noe Ramirez notched the save.
