ONE MORE BEFORE THE ALL-STAR BREAK: The Portland Sea Dogs seek their second consecutive series win, taking on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays affiliate) on Sunday afternoon at Delta Dental Stadium...Portland is 6-1 in July and 6-3 against the 'Cats this season...Right-hander Bryan Mata makes his second Double-A start - he won his debut on July 2nd vs. Trenton at Hadlock Field in game one of a doubleheader.
SEVEN WAS LUCKY: New Hampshire scored seven times in the seventh inning to beat the Portland Sea Dogs, 10-8 on Saturday night...The 'Cats scored six times off RHP Tanner Houck (8-6) and received a game-winning two-run homer from Chad Spanberger off RHP Matthew Gorst...DH Jerry Downs went 2-for-5 with a homer and 3 RBI...LHP Daniel McGrath tossed five innings on one unearned run, one hit, four walks, and six strikeouts.
